As of January 31, 2025, there is no official information available regarding the plot, cast, or release date of the 26th James Bond film, commonly referred to as “Bond 26.” Following Daniel Craig’s final portrayal of James Bond in “No Time to Die” (2021), where the character met a definitive end, the franchise is expected to undergo a reboot with a new actor assuming the iconic role.

In 2022, producer Barbara Broccoli indicated that the next installment was “going to be a couple of years off,” suggesting that production might commence in 2024. However, as of January 2025, there has been no apparent progress, and reports suggest that relations between Amazon MGM and Barbara Broccoli are strained, potentially affecting the timeline for Bond 26.

Various actors have been rumored to take over the role of James Bond, including Aaron Taylor-Johnson, who has reportedly been formally offered the role, as well as Paul Mescal and an older actor to portray 007.  Additionally, there have been reports that Bond 26 will film in Qatar.

Given the lack of official announcements, any trailers or promotional materials claiming to be for Bond 26 are speculative and not officially endorsed.
