Strike Back: Retribution is the sixth season of the action-packed military drama Strike Back, produced by Cinemax and Sky One. The mission begins when terrorist Omair Idrisi (Don Hany) escapes from a high-security prison transport, with the help of his ruthless wife, Jane Lowry (Katherine Kelly). Idrisi, a known extremist leader, has access to weapons of mass destruction, and Section 20 is tasked with hunting him down before he can execute his deadly plans. As the team tracks Idrisi and Lowry across the Middle East and Europe, they uncover a deeper conspiracy involving corrupt officials, arms dealers, and intelligence agencies with their own hidden agendas.

Throughout the season, Section 20 engages in explosive firefights, daring rescues, and high-speed chases as they navigate a world of espionage and betrayal. The group’s dynamic is tested by personal rivalries, conflicting loyalties, and the psychological toll of their dangerous profession. Unlike the previous seasons, Retribution focuses more on a team-based approach rather than a single protagonist, giving each member a chance to shine in combat and intelligence operations.

As the mission unfolds, it becomes clear that Jane Lowry is even more dangerous than her husband. While Idrisi is the face of terrorism, she is the mastermind, manipulating global powers to further her deadly ideology. The final confrontation pits Section 20 against Lowry in a desperate race to prevent a catastrophic attack.

Strike Back: Retribution delivers non-stop action, stunning cinematography, and complex characters, making it a thrilling addition to the franchise. While some longtime fans missed the original cast, the new team brought fresh energy and new dynamics, ensuring the show remained a top-tier action series.
