Waterworld (1995) is a post-apocalyptic science fiction film set in a dystopian future where the polar ice caps have melted, causing the entire Earth to be covered in water. When the atoll is attacked by a group of ruthless pirates known as the Smokers, led by the villainous Deacon (Dennis Hopper), The Mariner reluctantly agrees to help Helen and Enola escape.
