“Squid Game” Season 2 is set to return on December 26, 2024, and will bring back Seong Gi-hun (played by Lee Jung-jae) as he reenters the deadly game with a vengeance. At the end of Season 1, Gi-hun, having won the game but devastated by his experiences, chose not to escape to the U.S. Instead, he turned back, determined to bring down the organization running the games.
