Rey, along with his accomplice, Dr. Curtis Hunt, reveals sinister intentions: they are involved in human trafficking and organ harvesting. The injured Xander becomes their first victim, with his organs harvested for sale on the black market. Tessa is next in line, while Kaya is earmarked for a different, equally grim fate.
Determined to survive and save her friend, Kaya manages to escape her confines and confronts Dr. Hunt before he can operate on Tessa. In a desperate struggle, she kills Hunt and frees Tessa, urging her to stay hidden while she seeks help. Kaya then attempts to contact the Coast Guard but is pursued relentlessly by Rey. The confrontation culminates in a fierce battle, where Kaya, despite being wounded, uses a flare gun to fatally wound Rey. She then activates a beacon, ensuring their location is known. By dawn, the Coast Guard arrives, rescuing both Kaya and Tessa from their nightmarish ordeal.
