He becomes increasingly ruthless, culminating in a brutal confrontation with West’s men after he escapes execution. In a climactic scene, Jim unleashes an infected soldier on the remaining soldiers, leading to chaos and bloodshed.

Hope Amidst Despair: Ultimately, Jim, Selena, and Hannah manage to escape in Frank’s cab after defeating West.
