Plot: Corpse Bride 2 picks up several years after the original film. The spirits of the dead are becoming restless, and something is causing a rift between the worlds of the living and the dead, making the boundary between them weaker than ever before.

Emily, ever devoted to Victor, becomes determined to help him find a way to restore balance between the two worlds, but when a new figure—Lord Blackthorn, a charismatic yet sinister spirit from the past (voiced by Timothy Dalton)—arrives, their lives are thrown into turmoil. Lord Blackthorn claims to be an ancestor of Emily’s, and he offers her a tempting deal: if she helps him unravel a deep mystery tied to the very fabric of the afterlife, he will grant her and Victor eternal life together in the world of the living.

Victor, who has always felt out of place in the land of the dead, struggles with the idea of leaving the afterlife.
